Design Offices GmbH, Königstorgraben 11, 90402 Nuremberg (hereinafter: "We"), as the operator of the website, shall be considered the body responsible for the personal data of the users (hereinafter: "You") of the website as defined by the Federal Data Protection Act ("BDSG").
1. Collection of Personal Data
1.1 It is generally possible to use our website without submitting personal data. Where personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our pages, this will always be done on a voluntary basis, wherever possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.
1.2 However, personal data also includes information about your use of your website. In this context, we shall collect the following personal data from you every time you access our website:
(a) The IP address of your computer, the request by your browser as well as the time of this request.
(b) We shall also log the status and transferred data volume within the scope of this request.
(c) We shall also record the website from which our website was accessed and save this information. In addition, we shall analyse this data in order to assess the success of your advertising campaigns.
(d) We shall also collect information about your use of our website by using browser cookies. These are small text files that are saved on your data carrier and which save certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. A cookie usually contains the name of the domain from which the cookie data has been sent, as well as information about the age of the cookie and an alphanumeric identification sign. Cookies enable our system to recognise the user's device and make potential pre-settings available immediately. As soon as a user accesses our website, a cookie is transferred to the hard drive in the computer of that user, insofar as this has not been disabled by you beforehand (for this see paragraph 1.2 (f) of this Data Privacy Declaration).
2. Information on Storage Duration, Cookies and Targeting
2.1 The IP address of your computer will only be saved for the duration of your use of our website and will then be deleted or anonymised by abbreviation after this. The remaining data will be saved for a limited period of time.
2.2 Only the data explained above in paragraph 1 concerning your use of the website is saved in the cookies we use. This does not occur via an assignment to your person, but by assignment of an identification number to the cookie ("cookie ID"). Merging of the cookie ID with your name, your IP address or with similar data that would enable an assignment of the cookie to you does not occur.
3. Intended Purpose
3.1 We use the data as defined in paragraph 1 of this Data Privacy Declaration for the operation of our website, in particular in order to determine and rectify errors, in order to ascertain the amount of traffic to our website and in order to make adaptations or improvements for an effective and interesting design.
3.2 Cookies help us to improve our website and enable us to offer you a better service tailored even more perfectly to your needs. You enable us to recognise your computer again if you return to our website and thus:
• Save information about your preferred activities on the website and thus gear our website towards your individual interests.
• Speed up the handling of your enquiries.
4. No Disclosure of Your Personal Data
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties – except and only to the extent as indicated in this Data Privacy Declaration – unless you have actively consented to a data disclosure or we are entitled or obliged to make a data disclosure on account of statutory provisions and/or official or court orders. This may involve, in particular, the communication of information for the purposes of criminal prosecution, for security measures or emergency response or for the enforcement of intellectual property rights.
5. Your Rights and Contact
You can view your personal data free of charge at any time and, if necessary, request its correction and/or deletion and/or blocking. For this purpose and/or in order to obtain more detailed information, please contact us via email@example.com. If you have any questions, comments or enquires relating the collection, processing and use of your personal data by us, please also contact us via the contact address indicated.
6. Use of Social Media Plug-Ins
6.1 We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook and XING. Use only occurs via forwarding after you clicking on the relevant symbol. This means that, when you visit our site, no personal data will be sent to the providers of these plug-ins initially. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in via the marking on the black checkbox based on the initial letter (f for Facebook and X for XING). Personal data will only be transferred if you click on one of the plug-ins: Activating the plug-in will take you there and only then will data be sent automatically to the respective plug-in provider and saved there. We do not have any influence on the collected data and data processing procedures. The full extent of the data collection, the purposes as well as the storage periods are not fully known to us. As the plug-in provider collects data via cookies in particular, we recommend that you delete all cookies in your security settings before clicking on the black checkbox.
6.2 If you activate a plug-in, the plug-in provider will receive the information that you have called up the plug-in provider sub-page. In addition, the data indicated under paragraphs 6.4 and 6.5 of this Data Privacy Declaration will be transferred, whereby, in the case of Facebook and XING, only an anonymized IP will be logged according to the respective providers in Germany. This occurs regardless of whether you have an account with this plug-provider and regardless of whether you are logged in to such an account. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, this data will be assigned directly to your account. If you link to the site there, for example, the plug-in provider will also save this information in your user account and may communicate this to your contacts. If you do not wish the plug-in provider to make this assignment with your profile, you must log out before activating the button.
6.3 The plug-in provider saves this data as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website in accordance with its requirements. Such an evaluation is carried out (even if you are not logged in) in particular for the purpose of displaying relevant advertising and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. As a rule, you are entitled to reject the creation of these user profiles, but you must contact the respective plug-in provider in order to exercise this entitlement.
6.4 Further information concerning the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider can be obtained in the data protection declarations of these providers indicated below. There you can also find information on your rights and relevant settings options for the protection of your privacy.
