Design Offices makes Nürnberg fit for New Work

Design Offices is moving into Nürnberg’s former head post office with a new facility where the largest New Work campus in northern Bavaria is coming to life inTafelhof Palais, thereby establishing a site where the notion of work is being reconceived. As well as rooms for innovation and agile work, there will also be a makerspace where you can build your own prototypes. 


The new Design Offices location comprises a total of 12,400 square metres covering the listed rotunda in Allersberger Straße and the third to ninth floors of the smaller tower in the new building complex. Here companies will in future be able to find flexible office space for project teams with up to 500 employees but also various coworking areas such as the spacious coworking lounge on the 8th floor. One of the highest event spaces in the town is also being created on the 9th floor with multifunctional rooms of different sizes and a sensational view over the town as far as the castle.


About Tafelhof Palais

Tafelhof Palais is being built on the site of the former main post office, right next to Nürnberg’s main station. Hubert Haupt Immobilien Holding is developing a floor area of around 47,000 square metres with an appealing mix of uses. Besides a 4-star Superior “Leonardo Royal Hotel Nürnberg” and a hotel in the Motel One Group, Deutsche Post is moving into the location with a delivery centre including a P.O. Box facility, as is Postbank. These companies are complemented by flexible office space from Design Offices and attractive retail space. Tafelhof Palais is due for completion by the beginning of 2021.
